CSK also claimed their 5th runners-up title in IPL 2019, becoming the first team to have 5 runners-up titles. PBKS’ performance was next to the worst during these years in the IPL, but still, they showed competition to the comeback Super Kings. 2020-2021 – The Yellow Redemption

The comeback of Chennai Super Kings was one of the best comebacks, from the worst campaign in IPL 2020 to winning the IPL for the 4th time in IPL 2021, CSK proved again why they are one of the best in IPL. 2024-2025 – The Uncrowned Contenders PBKS

Punjab Kings played the final after 10 years in IPL 2025, but they again ruined their party despite having a wonderful campaign. CSK had a roller coaster season in IPL 2024 and tasted their first wooden spoon after 18 years in IPL 2025. PBKS didn’t have a memorable campaign in IPL 2024, but they came back and straightaway played the final in IPL 2025 and claimed the runners-up title.
