The 60th IPL 2025 season match was played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on 18th May Sunday between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans. It was indeed a great match full of thrill and unexpected twists and turns. It showed the brilliant batting and bowling skills of the players from both sides.  Gujarat Titans won the toss and chose to field first. Delhi capitals batted first and KL Rahul opened for it. It was a much needed change as other players who opened for DC were not able to score much earlier. Rahul began playing cautiously as the pitch wasnot favourable and the top order scored only 28 runs in first 5 overs with a wicket of FaF. Rahul then faced Rabada and scored 17 runs in the first over by the bowler. In the first 2 overs Rabada gave 34 runs to DC without gaining a wicket. The momentum gained up eventually for DC and Rahul steadily scored a marvelous century. He remained not out till the end of DC innings and scored 112 off just 65 balls. He found good support in Abhishek Porel, who scored 30 runs. Axar Patel scored 25 runs and lastly Stubbs gave the innings a final push with rapid 21 runs in just 10 balls. DC finished its innings marginally short of 200 runs at 199/3. For GT, Arshad, and Sai Kishore picked a wicket each.
